Hey I got my P1000 in Dubai, and I have 3 apps I want to delete but I cant, Holy Quran, prayer time, and Qiblah Direction, I also wanted to delete the samsung apps as it keeps showing 3 updates which I dont want to download. Does any one know how I can do this, I have no clue, I tried rooting my tab but its hard because I have a MacBook pro and I cant seem to find any program like odin to run on mac, or any forum explaining how to root with a mac. Can some one help me root, or delete this apps?

Hey man I enjoyed your video, only thing is, is that I can no longer find the firmware to use the device. I’m in the US and I can’t find a working download link. If you could please repost that would be great.

isn’t gingerbread mean to be an official update to this tablet? if so why are you doing this manually?

hey, thanks for the video!.
I have got a factory unlocked wifi+3g 16Gb tab, which I bought in the UK, same specs as @unknownos. I have no idea if it’s CDMA or GSM. Will this procedure work with this tab ?
Thanks!!
